Why You Should Never Settle
Life is a funny thing and it works in mysterious ways. You never know what each day will bring. You have control of most things that happen in your life. What you eat, who you interact with. Each day brings something new. It can be good or it can be bad. You decide what you make of it.
Never Settle For More Than You Deserve.
This quote reminded me of something very good friend had told me. She told me that whatever vibes I create, positive or negative, that is what I’ll manifest. In order to be whatever I want to be in life, I had to change my way of thinking. If you want something or someone, you gotta work for it because it isn’t going to come naturally and on its own. For example, say you want to become a CEO or work your way up the career ladder. Read and find out what the habits and thinkings of successful people are and try to mirror them as best as you can. If you want to meet the right person or be around the right people in life, then set high expectations for not only the individuals you interact with on a daily basis but for yourself as well. Never settle when you know you deserve more out of life. Take on the traits and behaviors of people that inspire and motivate you to become the person you want to be. Because by doing so, you might inspire or motivate someone else to become their best self. Its a domino effect.
Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates. You Never Know What You’re Going To Get.
Life is can be tough and there will always be obstacles in your path. It is your choice on how you choose to handle those obstacles. You can either sit and do absolutely nothing to change the outcome or you can do the opposite. You can say (and what that same friend told me), “Hey, I’m a rad person just trying to get through some rough times and good hints are coming my way!” Each day brings new life lessons that we never forget. We want to look back on our lives when we’re old, wrinkly, with things coming out of weird places and say that we are proud of how our lives can to be. It may not be perfect but as long as we are content, we know that we truly lived a good life because we shaped it in a way that makes us deserve and appreciate what life has offered to us.
